Friends, this is our neighborhood, we need your help. Please jump in and join us in getting things done. If you want to help with a particular area, or one I haven’t mentioned, leave a note on the home page or shoot an email to President@foxridgeop.org.

Mike Trudell
President
Hi everyone,
Here’s the latest.
If you’re reading this on the website, you can contact us very easily. Hit the “contact us” link that’s on every page. If you’re reading this via an email, simply hit reply to contact us. Or go to the website: foxridgeop.org
First of all, there are several “kudos” to be given. Look for pictures of the people and their projects in the Gallery on the website. If you’re reading this via an email, go to foxridgeop.org/gallery
Flagpole
Well done to Mike DelPizzo and Brad Foreman for the enhancement to the Foxridge entrance which they provided totally at their own expense. Mike donated the 22 foot steel flagpole and flag, and Brad donated the flowers.
The area between St Giles and the first houses on Foxridge Rd
Brothers Chris and Rob Weaver, of Ridgefield Ct, took it upon themselves to cut that wild area back. After 5 days of work and multiple trips to the dump with the cuttings and leaves, they have tamed it and made it look like a park. Excellent, excellent work, men.
And a generous resident, Roger Nash, a 47 year resident, so appreciated what Chris and Rob had done gave each a $50 gift certificate.
Camp Johnson entrance
After all the attention that was paid to the Foxridge Rd entrance sign when it was heavily damaged last fall, the Board decided that the Camp Johnson entrance was overdue for some love. So, a Board member and their son who want to remain anonymous responded to that need on Saturday Mar 28. It looks GREAT now. Maybe you have an idea to make it look better. Any ideas for further enhancements, we’re listening.
Island “Parents”
Seems “Parents” is an appropriate name since you adopted an island. We. Appreciate. You.
Here the names of those we are aware of:
Shon and Nancy Prescott, Bottomridge Dr
Tony and Aileen Wells. Ridgehill Dr
Theresa Orvis, Foxridge Rd
John Lunde, Forxridge Rd
Ed Hustus, Ridgefield Ct
Sheryl and Kelly LaRosa, Foxridge Rd
Lew Smith, Foxridge Rd
Josh Allen, Foxridge Rd
Linda McCann, Foxridge Rd
There are several other islands that appear to be receiving tender loving care from someone, as yet unnamed, and thus unrecognized, Island Parents. If that’s you, please contact us so that we can thank you publicly. It’s the least we can do. Or if you’re someone who knows them, please let us know who they are.
Also, it should be noted that eleven of the largest islands at the Front Entrance continue to be maintained by faithful volunteer residents of Circle Ridge at no cost to the association.
One last Thank You
We have a volunteer who has spent a ton of hours reconstructing and revising our website so that it is appealing to the eye. She’s not done, but what she has accomplished in a short period of time is wonderful. Also, she won’t allow me to recognize her, so all I’ll say is that she’ll read this and she’ll know she has the gratitude of the Board because none of us speaks “web design” which she is a master of. So, thank you, anonymous webmaster. We do appreciate your many hours of work.
Finances
Thank you to all who have given, and a special thank you to those who have given above and beyond the nominal $50 dues. This enables us to do the projects we’ll address next. Also, take a look at our “Treasurer’s reports” tab where you’ll find 3 documents:
1. Treasurer’s report as of March 18
2. Board’s Budget based on the funds on hand
3. The first Audit
Island Maintenance
We have found someone who will provide basic maintenance of the islands which are not being cared for currently. Initially this will consist of weed control. If dues continue to be received, the Board intends to do more.
Palm Trees
Since the palm trees haven’t been trimmed in a few years, this project was a priority for the Board. (If you review the budget on the Treasurer’s Reports tab, you’ll see it is our largest planned expenditure.) At this point, we are financially capable of trimming the palm trees that are in the islands (numbering about 332). There are also palm trees in the common areas, not in the islands (about 100) that we hope to get to, finances cooperating, later in 2026. We are in contract discussions with a company currently. You may see the results of those discussions before my next letter to the community.
Foxridge Rd Entrance Sign
The Board has been doing significant amount of research in an effort to return Foxridge Rd entrance sign to its original design as closely as possible and as inexpensively as possible.
Block Reps
Still looking for those willing to talk to your neighbors and at least get their name and email address so we can include them in these informational letters. As always, hit the “Contact us” link (or if you’re reading this via email, reply to this email.)
Foxridge Yard Sale
Saturday, April 11, 8am – 2 pm
The Board will put signs on Blanding at both entrances, Foxridge Rd and Camp Johnson. If you’re participating, feel free to put a sign(s) directing bargain-hunters to your home. Be a good neighbor and please remember to remove the signs Saturday or Sunday.
Concluding remarks
It has been very gratifying to see people come off the bench and join us in getting things done. Things as little as picking up litter (it’d be nice if people didn’t litter in the first place, right?) or even big things – anything to make Foxridge better. Maybe you’re shy and all you needed to hear was that someone else was doing something. If that’s you, come on and get in. If you want to help with a particular area, or one I haven’t mentioned, use the contact us link below. Friends, this is our neighborhood, your help is needed and greatly appreciated.
Talk to you soon. Things are happening, and we’ll make sure that you are made aware when it happens. Check back often.
